Rachel Stevens was born in London, England, UK on April 9, 1978. At the early age of 5, Stevens attended a drama school. She was picked as a winner in a modeling competition organized by the magazine “Just 17” at the age of 15. She loves the smell of freshly baked bread, R&B, Matthew McConaghey, football and her dog.

Stevens originally decided to pursue a career in fashion design but always loves to act and sing. She went to the London School of Fashion and did some professional modeling. She made a career in fashion before returning to the acting and singing she'd been interested since the age of five. She was picked as a member of the band “S Club 7” under Simon Fuller's 19 Management at the age of 20.

When band/group came apart, Stevens signed up a four album solo deal with Polydor Records. She was the first of her former band members to release a solo album which is entitled “ Funky Dory.” The album contains 11 pop songs and has been a success in the UK with two top 10 radio hits. With the signing of her contract to Polydor, Stevens became a spokes-model for Pretty Polly tights and hosiery. She was also voted as the number two “Sexiest Women” in FHM 2002.
