| Nicole Avery Cox was born on June 2, 1978 in Los Angeles. She already
expressed an interest in show business at the age of four. While Cox was
taking a dance class, she was discovered by a prominent dance agent that led
to her professional debut in the 1988’s comedy film entitled “Mac and Me.”
She won her first speaking part in a guest-starring role in the 1983’s
"Mama's Family." She also appeared dancing in Michael Jackson’s “Moonwalker”
in 1988. Cox appeared on television shows such as Gina Cates on ABC’s "General Hospital" (1963), 1984’s "Night Court," 1987’s "Star Trek: The Next Generation," 1988’s "Murphy Brown," 1989’s “The Ryan White Story,” "Baywatch," 1992’s sci-fi thriller “Danger Island” 1993’s "Boy Meets World," and NBC's "Someone Like Me" in 1994. She starred in the film hit “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” in 1991. |
