Nicole Mary Kidman is an Australian but was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA on June 20, 1967. Connor Anthony Kidman Cruise (born on February 1995) and Isabella Jane Kidman Cruise (born on January 1993; adopted) was her adopted children from her divorced husband actor Tom Cruise.

Kidman has formal training in theater arts and has majored in voice, production and theater history. She earned a “Best Newcomer Award” at the age of 14 in her act on the Philip Street Theater. She had several television shows such as 1983’s “Bush Christmas,” Australian TV’s “BMX Bandits,” parts in “Chase Through The Night,” “Five-Mile Creek,” “Prince and the Great Race,” 1984's “Matthew and Son” 1985’s “Wills and Burke”, “Room To Move,” “Archer’s Adventure,” 1986’s “Wind Rider,” and 1987’s “Watch The Shadows Dance,” and “Night Master.” Two of her awards for TV, the Australian Film Institute Best Actress Awards and the Australian Public’s Best Actress of the Year came from her role in “Vietnam” (1988) and “Bangkok Hilton” (1989).

Kidman has also played roles in films “Une Australienne a Rome” (1987), “The Bit Part (1987),” and “Emerald City” (1988). She had made her American film debut in “Dead Calm.” Kidman and ex-husband Tom Cruise worked together in “Days of Thunder” (1990). Several films of Kidman include 1991’s “Billy Bathgate,”1992’s “Far and Away,” “Flirting,” 1993’s “My Life,” “Malice,” and 1995’s “Batman Forever.” These array of movies were followed by “To Die For” (1995), “The Leading Man” (1996), “The Portrait of a Lady” (1996), “The Peacemaker” (1997), “Practical Magic where she co-stars with Sandra Bullock (1998), “The Last Movie: Stanley Kubrick and “Eyes Wide Shut” (1999).
