She was only five years old when she realized that he has a huge heart for acting. Gifted with acting talent, she already played roles from comedy to heavy drama since her acting career began. She was twelve when she took up acting lessons and not long after that got signed by an agent. Her big break in Hollywood came in 1994 when the main actor of the comedy film “Camp Nowhere” unexpectedly quitted the job. Jessica filled in the abandoned role. It was neither her talent, nor her charm that brought her to fortune though. Rather, it is her hair that appeared quite similar with the former actress bearing the role that attracted the director. Jessica gave her best shot in this movie and she won the hearts of many. She made two television commercials for Nintendo and JC Penny. She became a part of the comedy series called “The Secret World of Alex Mack” in 1994. She played the antagonist role of a young snob who wished to make the title character miserable. Not long after this, she snagged the role of “Maya” in the ever famous series “Flipper” Since she is naturally inclined to diving and swimming, Jessica found doing Flipper quite a favorable project for her. The success of Flipper went on from 1995 to 1997. In its two years of fame, Jessica played the major role of Maya.

Since she became a part of “Flipper”, Jessica’s career flourished like snowball. She had roles in various television shows and movies as well. From 1995 to 1996, she performed as young Eve in “Venus Rising”. The following year, she was in “Dini Petty Show”, where she talked about her role in “Flipper”. She worked with P.U.N.K.S in 1998. Early in the same year, she was a part of “Brooklyn South” by playing the role of Melissa. She also appeared in “Beverly Hills, 90210” bearing the role of Leanne. In addition, she was in two episodes of the hit “Love Boat: The Next Wave”.

 Jessica was featured in “Teen Magazine” in 1995. She also appeared in other European Magazines. “Vanity Fair” also featured her in its February 1999 issue. In the very same year, she starred in two movies: “Never Been Kissed” and “Idle Hands”. In the year that followed, she preformed the lead role in “Dark Angel”, a hit television series and Paranoid.
Jessica may have had her debut film accidentally, but her fame is definitely not fortuitous. Deep in her heart, at a very young age, she knew she had nowhere to go but Hollywood.
