She was born in Sherman Oaks, California on the 11th of February 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California. Her parents are John and Nancy Aniston. Jennifer, who is a Greek, lived in Greece when she was a child. After some time, they moved to New York when her father got a role in a daytime soap “Love of Life”. Her father also played the role of Victor Kiriakis in “Days of Our Lives”. When she was only nine, her parents divorced and Nancy raised Jennifer by herself in New York. She was in her early adolescence when she became interested in acting after she has watched a play entitled, “Children of a Lesser God” on Broadway. When she was eleven years old, she became a member of the Rudolf Steiner School’s drama club. It was also during this time that a painting of hers was displayed in New York Metropolitan Museum’s exhibit. She was a member of the New York High School for the Performing Arts at age of fifteen. In 1987, she graduated from high school but did not want to attend college. She preferred to work in a burger cooperative named Jackson Hole in Manhattan. She performed in off- Broadway productions entitled “For Dear Life” shown in Public Theater in New York City. She also became a part of another show called “Dancing on Grave”. In the year that followed, Jennifer had a career in television shows. She was a regular cast on “Molloy”, a part of “Ferris Bueller” in 1990, a cast in “Herman’s Head” in 1991, and appeared in “The Edge” in 1992. She took part in “Leprechaun” in 1993. Her biggest break came in 1994 when she followed her heart and auditioned for the character of Rachel Green, who became a coffee peddler from being a suburban princess, instead of what of playing the role of Monica. Before she got the role, Jennifer had to loose as much as thirty pounds, and she made it. She fitted the role very well, and the series “Friends” became a big hit. Its success has changed Jennifer’s life much. She became a prominent actress who is adored by many.

On big screen, Jennifer starred in “Picture Perfect”, “The Object of my Affection”, “Office Space”, and “Rock Star”.

Jennifer married the famous Brad Pitt of Hollywood on July 29 2000. In the same year she made partial appearance in “The Good Girl”.

Her journey towards success was not easy. She is where she is now because she has developed an attitude of taking criticisms well, and she had the courage to take risks.
