Christina was born on November 25, 1971 in Los Angeles California USA under the sign of Sagittarius. Her father is Bobby Applegate, a record executive then, and her mother is Nancy Priddy, who is an actress. When her parents divorced, her mother alone raised Christina.

She believes that she has been an actress ever since she “popped out” on earth. She was only three months when she became a part of the show “Days of Our Lives” in which her mother played a major role. She also made a movie with Nancy entitled “Jaws of Satan” when she was ten. It was the beginning of a career that she still has up to the present.

Known for her talent as a comedy actor, Christina played the role of a ditzy bimbo on “Married… With Children”, a long running hit sitcom in Fox channel. After which, she attempted to change her image a bit and made her appear smart and brainy on television and wide screen. Her serious side has been shown in “Streets” where she played the role of a prostitute and drug addict. Her anti-bundy, smart and ingenious character was highlighted in the teen comedy “Don’t Tell Mom the Baby Sitter’s Dead” shown in big screen in 1991. Her other movies, are either romantic-comedy, or action-comedy. Along with Mark Wahlberg, Applegate starred in the action comedy, “The Big Hit” in 1998. She also played the role of Mob Scion’s fiancée in “Mafia” in 1998. In the same year she returned to her career in television with the sitcom “Jesse”, where her role was a single mother splitting her time between family and work. She performed well for her mother’s real life experience inspired her. In 2001, she went back to making comedy movies. This time, she co-starred with Jean Reno in “Just Visiting”. In 2002, she played the role of Cameron Diaz’s sensible best friend in the romantic-comedy hit “The Sweetest Thing”. She earned pleasant feedback from critics for her superb performance in this film.

Applegate has “it” in comedy, not to mention her beautiful body that is so pleasant to look at. She can certainly make viewers giggle and forget problems even just for a while.
